我们先来看一道去年的期末原题，John在昨天晚上八点洗了他的车。因为时间状语为过去一个具体的时间点，因此我们判断时态为过去进行时，进而在四个选项中我们选择过去进行时的结构，D选项的was washing就是我们要选择的答案。

现在完成时关注的不是事情本身，而是强调事情与现在保持的密切联系。（如现在的结果、影响、一直延续到现在等）
