托福考试是由美国教育考试服务中心（ETS）主办的英语水平考试。托福的全称是“非母语者英语水平测试”。托福中文翻译成“托福”。

托福分为三类：PBT试卷677、CBT计算机考试机300、IBT网络考试网120和新托福满分120。托福考试有效期为两年，从考试日期算起。例如，我在2003年1月18日参加了考试。考试成绩的有效期为2003年1月18日至2005年1月18日。托福复习的主要材料是托福机器经典，也被称为民间托福答题库。

2014年4月初，内政部与美国教育考试机构ETS结束合作，不再承认托福和托业成绩。一些即将在英国学习的学生报告说，他们已经收到学校的通知，要求再次提供他们的英语测试结果。

托福考试学习要点

在考试前，我们必须做模拟考试，因为只要我们有一个合理的计划，听力、口语、阅读和写作子项的提高就不会成为问题。考试前的模式测试对托福取得高分非常重要，所以我们几乎已经介绍了所有国外权威的考试指导教材。我们可以用这些书做很多模型测试。

ETS托福模式考试实际上是过去真正的考试，所以很多学生在考试后，发现模式考试的分数与实际分数几乎相同，因为它与实际托福考试相同。而TPO在计算机上进行考试，为广大学生提供了在计算机上操作和实践的机会。

托福考试知识点

英国内政部于2014年4月初结束与美国教育考试机构ETS的合作，不再承认其旗下托福（TOEFL）和托业（TOEIC）两大英语考试的成绩。部分准备赴英留学的中国学生反映已接到校方要求重新提供英语考试成绩的通知。

Constatives(叙事句):a constative sentence is a description of what the speaker is doing at the time of speaking.It can be said to be ture or false.

Endocentric(向心结构):is one whose distribution is functionally equivalent to that of one or more of its constituents,i,e,a word or a group of words,which serves as a definable centre or head.

托福证书，未来前景

如果托福和雅思的使用方式不同，前者是计算机考试（包括口语），后者是笔试（中国仍然是笔试，文都考研1已经开始计算机考试）。未来我国的发展趋势是计算机考试和笔试同时出现，供考生选择。然而，就发展而言，所有的计算机考试都将缓慢进行，但口试不会）口试都是针对外国考生的。正式对话。

托福和雅思的性质是一样的，也就是说，语言测试的功能是一样的。前者首先在美国和加拿大进行测试，后者在英联邦进行测试。后者现在被广泛使用，美国和加拿大的许多大学也接受雅思成绩。
